Digimagaz.com – In a recent announcement, Bayern Munich’s president, Herbert Hainer, confirmed on Wednesday that the club is aware of “initial talks” regarding a potential transfer deal for forward Sadio Mané. The Senegalese star could be on the move to the Saudi Pro League club Al Nassr, where he might have the opportunity to team up with football icon Cristiano Ronaldo.

While on a preseason tour in Japan, Hainer stated, “FC Bayern is informed about this. But these are initial talks; you have to wait and see.” The confirmation comes after German tabloid newspaper Bild reported that an adviser to Sadio Mané would be meeting with representatives from Al Nassr to discuss the possibility of the transfer.

Sadio Mané, who has a contract with Bayern for two more years, had a somewhat disappointing and injury-riddled first season with the club after his move from Liverpool. The forward managed to score 12 goals in 38 games for Bayern; however, his productivity was hampered by a leg injury he sustained in November, which also ruled him out of the World Cup. Additionally, Mané faced a suspension for one game due to “misconduct” in April when he reportedly struck teammate Leroy Sané in the locker room following a Champions League defeat to Manchester City.

The potential move of Sadio Mané to Al Nassr aligns with the trend of Saudi clubs’ signing spree, with several high-profile players already joining their ranks. As a Premier League and Champions League winner with Liverpool, Mané’s addition would undoubtedly boost Al Nassr’s squad significantly.

On Tuesday, President Hainer expressed his view on Mané’s first season at Bayern, stating, “It was certainly not satisfactory, neither for him nor for us.” This suggests that the club may be open to considering the transfer offers and reshaping their lineup.

In a recent friendly match against Manchester City in Japan, Sadio Mané came off the bench, replacing Kingsley Coman as Bayern coach Thomas Tuchel made a complete starting XI change during the break. This substitution has further fueled speculation about Mané’s potential departure from the club.

As negotiations continue, football fans eagerly await further updates on whether Sadio Mané will make the move to Al Nassr and create a formidable partnership with Cristiano Ronaldo in the Saudi Pro League.
